TagDragon is a Chrome DevTools extension for capturing and decoding network requests from 59 marketing and analytics providers. Get it installed and start debugging in under a minute.
Prerequisites
- Chrome 102 or later (or a Chromium-based browser like Edge, Brave, or Opera)
Install from Chrome Web Store
- Visit the TagDragon listing on the Chrome Web Store
- Click Add to Chrome
- Confirm the installation in the popup
The extension icon will appear in your browser toolbar.
Open TagDragon
- Open DevTools on any website by pressing
F12or right-clicking and selecting Inspect - Find the TagDragon tab in the DevTools panel bar (alongside Elements, Console, Sources, etc.)
- Click on it to open the TagDragon panel
Capture your first request
Navigate to any website and watch tracking requests appear in real-time. TagDragon automatically captures requests from 59 supported providers.
Click on any request to see its decoded parameters in a human-readable format instead of raw URL strings.
Quick workflow: 60 seconds to your first insight
- Open DevTools (
F12) → click the TagDragon tab - Navigate to any website — tracking requests appear automatically
- Click any request → the Decoded tab shows human-readable parameters grouped by category
- Look for issues — red status codes, missing event names, or unexpected parameters
- Filter by provider — press
